Submachine guns in Battlegrounds Mobile India are usually weapons suited for close range encounters, often offering low damage but very high fire rate with excellent stability. Don’t try using them when up close, though, as you’ll miss a lot of shots due to the erratic recoil patterns. However, when outfitted properly, some SMGs can be very useful at medium distances, though this is still far from being their specialty.

The SMGs available in BGMI include the following:

Uzi

• Ammo Type: 9 mm.

• Damage: 26.

• Fire Rate: 1,200 rounds/minute.

• Description: A staggering fire rate combined with great stability make this weapon lethal at close range. With the proper attachments, the stability of this weapon is unmatched, though its lack of optics make it ill-suited for anything other than fighting at short distances.

PP-19 Bizon

• Ammo Type: 9 mm.

• Damage: 35.

• Fire Rate: 660 rounds/minute.

• Description: Though not quite as fast as other SMGs, this gun more than makes up for it with its massive ammo capacity, coming at a base value of 53 rounds.

MP5K

• Ammo Type: 9 mm.

• Damage: 33.

• Fire Rate: 900 rounds/minute.

• Description: A good all-rounder SMG, ideal for most situations.

Vector

• Ammo Type: 9 mm.

• Damage: 31.

• Fire Rate: 1,100 rounds/minute.

• Description: Very fast and powerful, with lots of recoil as well. When fully outfitted, this is a solid all-rounder SMG.

Thompson

• Ammo Type: .45 ACP.

• Damage: 40.

• Fire Rate: 670 rounds/minute.

• Description: A strong SMG with low fire rate. One of the best options in this category for mid-range engagements.

UMP45

• Ammo Type: .45 ACP.

• Damage: 39.

• Fire Rate: 670 rounds/minute.

• Description: Similar to the Thompson both in terms of damage and function

PUBG Assault Rifles (AR) details

 

Assault Rifles

Your bread and butter for most of your matches. ARs are one of the most widely-used weapons types in BGMI, not because they’re so strong, but because they are very versatile and effective at mid to long ranges. A good assault rifle can function as a DMR, a sniper, and an SMG, though they’re not quite as effective at those roles as more specialized firearms. For this reason, a common loadout in BGMI is an AR in the main slot, and then another weapon suited to the circumstances as a secondary.

The ARs currently in BGMI include the following:

QBZ

• Ammo Type: 5.56 mm.

• Damage: 43.

• Fire Rate: 625 rounds/minute.

• Description: Strong and reliable, though it has a bit of a kick when firing in auto.

AUG 43

• Ammo Type: 5.56 mm.

• Damage: 43.

• Fire Rate: 660 rounds/minute.

• Description: Very stable even in full auto, and can be improved even further with a variety of attachments. 

M416

• Ammo Type: 5.56 mm.

• Damage: 43.

• Fire Rate: 660 rounds/minute.

• Description: Highly customizable and versatile. A good all-rounder AR.

G36C

• Ammo Type: 5.56 mm.

• Damage: 43.

• Fire Rate: 700 rounds/minute.

• Description: Very high fire rate and with good stability. Better suited for combat at medium ranges.

FAMAS

• Ammo Type: 5.56 mm.

• Damage: 53.

• Fire Rate: 750 rounds/minute.

• Description: Massively powerful and with a very high fire rate. However, it only has 25 bullets at base, and can be expanded to a maximum of 35. Ideal for close range encounters.

SCAR-L

• Ammo Type: 5.56 mm.

• Damage: 43.

• Fire Rate: 576 rounds/minute.

• Description: Similar to the M416 in customization, and quite stable even in full auto. A good choice for most situations.

M16A4

• Ammo Type: 5.56 mm.

• Damage: 43.

• Fire Rate: 600 rounds/minute.

• Description: Lethal at medium to long distances. Very stable shooting with its 3-round burst mode.

AKM

• Ammo Type: 7.62 mm.

• Damage: 49.

• Fire Rate: 600 rounds/minute.

• Description: Very strong though with tremendous recoil. Difficult to shoot in full auto. Can be used as an alternative to DMRs in single-fire mode and with a good scope.

MK47 Mutant

• Ammo Type: 7.62 mm.

• Damage: 49.

• Fire Rate: 600 rounds/minute.

• Description: Quite strong even at long ranges due to its very stable 2-round burst.

GROZA

• Ammo Type: 7.62 mm.

• Damage: 49.

• Fire Rate: 750 rounds/minute.

• Description: A gamebreaker. Great for all purposes and very strong. Only found in airdrops.

M762

• Ammo Type: 7.62 mm.

• Damage: 49.

• Fire Rate: 600 rounds/minute.

• Description: Strong but difficult to control in full auto. Recommended for medium ranges.

About Battle Grounds Mobile India (BGMI)

BATTLE GROUNDS MOBILE INDIA is currently available in open beta for everyone currently in the country. This India-exclusive title was developed by Krafton after the country banned PUBG Mobile back in late 2020 and left over 30 million gamers unable to access their favorite mobile Battle Royale title. BGMI features several cosmetic and text changes, and was developed by the team alongside the Indian government to provide the very best gameplay, perfectly suited to the standards of the country.

As we all know, BGMI is just the rebranded version of PUBG. There a ton of similarities between both the games, like both the games have the same maps, same game modes, same vehicles, etc. However, there are some minor changes to the BGMI which can be noticed during gameplay. When you start the game, you will notice a disclaimer that says the game is a simulation, not the real world. Then the kill effect has some changes, like green animation instead of bloodshed. The fun fact is that now you can’t kill your enemies in the game you can only finish them.
